When you click on an egg, a description of that egg or hatchling will pop up (picture and description as supplied by the dragon cave )
You will see this part ...
Aww... It's a cute baby dragon. It enjoys sunning itself in the morning light.
And look! It's grown its wings! It must be close to maturing.
Young dragons are relatively defenseless. Their scales don't grow in until right before they mature, and they have almost no strength. Once a hatchling's wings grow in, it marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are usually left alone by their mother and begin to hunt and survive on their own.It is
after the last part of the description that it will say something like ...
the shell of the egg appears soft or it might say the hatchling appears to be ill ... If you see that, it means it has gotten too many views in too short a time and you just log into your scroll, select Actions ... then 'Hide' your egg or hatchling. Usually hiding it for one day is enough. To check to see if it is okay, unhide the egg or hatchling, then click on the egg/hatchling to see what it says after the description. If there is nothing there, your egg/hatching is okay.
If it still says the shell is soft or appears ill, hide it again.
This is the only way to tell if it has received too many views.
